How to Register as a Driver and Join Events
If you plan to show your car at a meet or event, CrateOS makes it easy to register and stay organized. Whether you're applying for a curated show or pulling into a local meet, here's how to get started as a driver on CrateOS.
👤 Who Should Sign Up as a Driver?
If you have a car you'd like to register for an event, you should sign up as a driver. Even if you're also attending events without showing your car, having a driver account lets you do both from one place.
If you're only attending and not showing a car, you can RSVP as an attendee without signing up. But to register a vehicle, you must create a driver account.
🔧 How to Sign Up as a Driver
To get started:
- Go to crateonscene.com
- Click Sign Up in the top right
- Select "I'm a Driver"
- Enter your name, email, and password
Once signed up, you'll be taken to your Driver Portal.
🏎️ Inside the Driver Portal
Your portal is where you manage everything related to your cars and events. You can:
- Add your car to your garage – Include images, make/model, and basic details
- Browse upcoming events – Easily see which events are open for driver registration or general RSVP
- Register your car for events that accept participants
- RSVP as an attendee for events you want to check out but not participate in
- Download your social badge – If you're approved, check the event page or Upload Center for a ready-to-use social badge you can post on Instagram or Stories
📋 Managing Your Events
From your dashboard, you’ll see a list of all the events you’re involved in:
- Registered as a Participant: View your approval status, payment notes (if applicable), and access Event-Day Instructions like roll-in times, what to bring, and arrival gates.
- RSVP’d as an Attendee: View any instructions or notes shared by the organizer for attendees.
✅ Quick Reminders
- You only need one driver account to register cars and RSVP to any event.
- You'll be notified by email when your car is approved, waitlisted, or denied for an event.
- You can update your car details at any time in your garage.
