  • A dedicated page for your event
  • Clean, sharable layout for mobile and desktop
  • Visibility beyond the algorithm
  • Car owners registering through CrateOS (without you lifting a finger)

And once attendees start finding your event through us…
You'll see why more organizers are making the switch.

Who Built This—and Why

Our team brings 25 years of IT and programming experience, combined with extensive ecommerce knowledge and real-world involvement through Import Crate—our automotive lifestyle shop with a presence both online and in retail. We vend at car shows. We sponsor events. We talk to organizers and attendees every week. We’re on the ground, seeing what works, what fails, and what’s missing.

We’ve seen firsthand how car culture connects people—and how frustrating it can be when meet info gets lost in the noise. crateOS was built to fix that—not from the outside looking in, but from within the culture itself.

We’re Starting with a True MVP

CrateOS is launching in phases—starting with a lean, minimum viable product (MVP) focused on what matters most: making it easier to post, find, and register for real car meets and shows.

We’ve built this intentionally. No feed. No bloat. No unnecessary extras.

Just the tools the scene actually needs, delivered with performance in mind.

The platform is under active development, with new features rolled out in focused phases—each shaped by a clear vision and long-term roadmap.

We’re not just listening to the community—we’re building for it.

And we’re doing it without distractions, without investors, and without shortcuts.

Join Early. Help Build What’s Next.

We’re not backed by investors. We’re building this independently, fueled by the same community it’s built to serve.

If you believe in what crateOS stands for—a better way to connect the scene—here’s how you can help make it real:

  • Follow @crateonscene – That’s where updates, previews, and launch announcements go first
  • Spread the word – Know a host, vendor, or shop that should be on this? Let them know
  • Shop Import Crate – A portion of every order helps fund development. Yes—your shirt, sticker, or poster actually helps build the future of meets
  • Be one of the first hosts – We’re tracking early supporters. The ones who get in early will be the first to benefit once the full platform rolls out

CrateOS Isn’t Social Media. It’s Infrastructure for the Culture.

We’re not here to build the next trending app.

We’re here to support the people who actually make the car scene happen—one event, one car, one crew at a time.

Whether you're a host or a first-time attendee, CrateOS helps you find your place in the lot.

This isn’t just an app. It’s a tool for the people who make the culture move.

And it’s only getting started.

FAQs

Is crateOS just another car social network?

No. crateOS isn’t about likes, followers, or posting builds. It’s a tool—built to make meets easier to post, find, and manage.

No feed. No scroll. Just real utility for people in the scene.

How is crateOS different from other car apps?

Most car meet apps feel like social networks—with a lot of noise and not much function. crateOS isn’t that.

We’re building real tools to fix the problems people in the scene actually deal with—finding events, registering cars once (not over and over), helping vendors prepare, and giving organizers what they need to run smooth meets.

No forced signups just to browse. No bloated features. Just a clean way to make the car scene better—for everyone.

Why are you launching it in phases?

We’re building this the right way—lean first, powerful over time.

Phase 1 solves the biggest issue: discoverability. From there, we’ll keep adding tools built around how the culture actually moves.

Will crateOS replace Instagram, Facebook, or other car apps?

No. Those platforms still have their strengths—especially for content and community.

crateOS is different. It’s not a feed, it’s a tool.

We’re focused on solving what the others never could: helping people actually find and manage meets without the noise.

Do I need to download anything?

Not yet. crateOS will launch as a mobile-friendly web app you can use right from your phone.

Nothing to install. Just visit, post, or search.

Is this free?

Yes. Phase 1 is completely free.

As we roll out advanced tools, there may be premium features—but the core functionality will always be accessible.

Who’s behind crateOS?

crateOS is built and funded by Import Crate.

We’ve been vending at car shows, running a shop, and supporting the scene for over a decade.

No outside investors. No fluff. Just people who’ve lived this and decided it was time to build something better.

Is crateOS the final name?

Not yet. crateOS is the production name we’re using during development.

The official name will be announced closer to launch—once we find the one that feels right.
